by Samuel Vogel-seidenberg

The Dominican Lacrosse program is very excited to announce that Jeremiah Verhaege (Mountain View High School ’20, Idaho) has Verbally Committed to continue his education and play lacrosse for Dominican University. Jeremiah is a very talented defenseman; Jeremiah will bring a lot to the Penguins as we build a talented 2024 class. Jeremiah has helped build the Mountain View team to a championship contender every year. Coach Sammy stated “We are very excited to have a smart, aggressive and physical defender in Jeremiah Verhaege to join the Penguins for the 2020-2021 season. He is aggressive, physical, a clearing machine, and very physical on the ball. We know he will fit nicely into our systems and to the culture of the team.” Jeremiah would like to thank Dominican Alumni Harrison Rae for mentoring him and helping him become a Penguin. Welcome to the Penguins, Jeremiah! Please stay tuned for Jeremiah National Signing Day!
