The Dominican Lacrosse Program is very excited to announce Austin Miller (Spanish Springs High School ’19, Nevada) has Verbally Committed to continue his education and play lacrosse for Dominican University. Austin is a very talented goalie who will bring a lot to the Penguins as we continue to build our talented 2023 class. Austin earned honorable mention all conference during his Junior year and has over a 50% save percentage during his high school career. Austin will help strengthen our defensive core. During the off-season Austin plays club ball for 101 Lacrosse. When asked about Austin Miller Coach Sammy stated “We are very excited to have a very talented goalie in Austin Miller join the Penguins for the 2019-2020 season. He has been a consistent goalie for Spanish Springs and has helped them become more competitive in league play. He has quick hands, is aggressive when stepping to the ball, is strong with outside shots and clears with confidence. We feel he will fit right into our defensive systems and to the mentality of the team.” Welcome to the Penguins, Austin! Stay tuned for Austin National Signing Day!
