    SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — Coach Matt Blamey, entering his second year with Dominican University, has been named the new head coach for the men's lacrosse program. Serving the 2014 season as defensive coordinator for the Penguins, Blamey came to Dominican from Sonoma State University, where he also served as defensive coordinator.     SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — Kevin Powers is named 2014 Offensive Player of the Year. Powers, a junior attackman from Issaquah, Washington, started all 12 games for Dominican and set new single-season records in 2014, scoring 36 goals while registering 51 offensive points as he helped lead the Penguins to their second straight conference title in thrilling fashion.
